What the heck am I looking for?? (£100) :)

Hiya everyone. I'm a bit lost. There's a lot of good deals atm & I don't know where to go. What I'm looking for something closed back that is suitable for most genres, I don't have an iphone etc &will mostly use my galaxy note 3 to listen on. I'd like something that has good quality bass (I can be a bit of a basshead) & is spacious, portable &preferably has a mic to use with my phone. I'm not sure if I should look at something more referenced or "fun" lol but I don't want something cold sounding. My budget is around £100. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I like using viper 4 android, if that helps. Iv been banging my head for about 2 weeks now & CAL! 2 was a top runner as was akg k550, the original CAL! Etc, the usual popular ones i know but I'm giving up lol. Oh, &I'm using a little fiio e6 as well if that helps.

Thanks everyone, I love you guys!

Yamaha pro 400 and 500 are good fun sounding cans. The prices are half their original msrp. If you can be a basshead, getting a bass neutral can like the akg k550 would be a bad idea.
Other fun cans:
Donscorpio dolphin from penon audio
Polk audio buckle (prices have also dropped on these)

Hmm yamaha, I never considered them, are they good for headphpnes? I realise now that what iv asked for in my previous posts is a bit silly lol. I thought I knew what I was talking about. After years I'm still a noob lol. Right I want something that isn't cold, is clear, spacious, closed back &portable, possibly with a mic. Is that doable for £100? I'm really liking the k550 &I might settle for them. Thanks Mr zune.

K550s have good bass extension, but not really bass emphasis. A basshead that likes extra bass emphasis could easily be disappointed. A basshead that likes good SQ bass could be happy smily_headphones1.gif

So if bass emphasis is what you want, I would encourage you to look at the Logitech UE6000 instead. These are also more portable friendly than the K550s. Here is a good review of them: http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/surprisingly-good-logitec-ue6000-and-ue9000

Then also the Donscorpio Dolphins. These are little known because they have to be purchased from Hong Kong. Enough bass that a non-basshead would describe them as bass heavy, but not heavy bass emphasis.

The donscorpio phones look amazing. So, it's the 550s, donscorpios, or logitech. What do u think to the donscorpio dramas? Thanks so much for the excellent suggestions

I own the Dolphins, but have not heard the Dramas. However, comparisons indicate that they are definitely more of a basshead phone than the Dolphins. I also own the Donscorpio Bass Colour IEMs. My experience has been so far that both of those phones I have are great performers for the price. So I would expect the Dramas would be too.

You'll want to search the Chinese/Asian thread to find any info about the Dramas: http://www.head-fi.org/t/684159/chinese-asian-brand-info-thread-headphones-iems-amps-dacs
