Not sure what the best portable configuration is, some advice for a portable novice?

I'm looking to get a portable audio system. Budget wise I'm more concerned about value per dollar as opposed to total amount spent. I'm also open to other recommendations.

For headphones I am planning on getting the westone um pro 50. Though I am considering the Sonic Ears EM6 from the reviews, I just have more experience with westone products.

The systems I'm considering are the Fiio X5 possibly combined with the E12 amp or another portable amp or the ibasso dx90. I've also looked at the AK120 II, it seems a little overpriced, but for all I know it could really sound amazing and be worth every penny.

My music collection is half FLAC half MP3. Which system would be best?

The Westone um pro 50 are only 45-Ohms, easy for anything to drive them, so I'm thinking you should pass on buying the FiiO E12.

OK, which audio player do you recommend?

Personally, I do not think I would spend any more then $200 to $250, for a DAP (FiiO X3 or iBasso DX50).

I've demoed the A&K AK100 and AK120, they really do sound nice, but i can see spending that kind of cash for a portable.
