Very cool, man!! I've actually really wanted to hear the 600 Ohm 880 (really liked the only other 880 I've heard, don't think it was the 600 Ohm edition though) and the HD600. As a guy who really just couldn't find a way to like the HD650, it seems like the 600 may be more up my alley.

And the HE-400 is just stupid good for the money... I heard one driven by a Pico Power portable amp out of an iPad one time and was just floored at how good it sounded. Truly terrific can IMO.

Yeah man, definitely come on down, we'd love to have ya!! :)

Edit: Cool username btw. Do you work in the music business, by any chance?

Killer!! I'd also be interested in checking out that Lyr 2 ;). Just out of curiosity, what s/w are you running on your laptop?

I am using JRiver v.19, everything ripped in FLAC, a few 24/96 downloads, classic rock, classical, folk, indie folk, alt country, jazz, opera, grunge, indie rock, to name a few likes 🍻.

Very cool! I'm running JRMC19 too. Best app I've ever seen for music playback, nothing else even comes close IME.

Gotta ask ya: which Wildcats are you referring to in your username? The Kentucky Big Blue ones, Arizona ones, or something else entirely? (It would be funny if you were a felisologist or something*).

*Yes, I blatantly made up the word felisologist. But afterwards, I did legitimately look to see if there was a name for the science of studying cats, and found exactly nothing, so I'm stubbin' up and leaving it. ;)

That has "lush, beautiful, inviting sound" written all over it ;). And that's cool about playing at AZ, I would've guessed you were a KY guy by our proximity to UK. (Not that close, but sure a heck of a lot closer than AZ, lol!)

As a football nutjob myself (a fan, I was a terrible player), I was really concerned about setting up a meet on a Saturday during football season, but my team (UT) is off that week, and I've already got everything set up so that we can stream TV from my mom's house to my tablet so we can get our fix whenever we need to! Probably need to set that up across the room from the headphones though, due to the loud noises and sudden movements that seem to be common whenever I watch college football... :D

I have "wildcatsare1" locked up on gmail and Yahoo, I have had a couple of offers from UK Fans to buy them since moving up here.

I am almost to the point where I don't yell fumble, reverse, screen, etc. during games, though I still twitch and lunge a bit making tackles, shedding blocks 🏈. My Girls hate watching football with me 🔇.

I am hoping to listen to the HE560's, HD800's, and some Audeze Cans...are any scheduled to attend?

Ha!! That's awesome ;). Although in my experience, UK fans tend to actually be one of the better (read: less aggressive, obnoxious, Florida-esque) fanbases, so at least you got to deal with them instead of some of the less savory team supporters in the SEC. (Like Florida. Ahem.).

Sounds like you're considerably ahead of me, then... I yell encouragement and derision at the TV screen during commercials. The only people who enjoy watching football with me are those who are A). as insane as I am, or B) amusedly resigned to the spectacle of watching me watch the game.

Don't know of any HE560s coming as of yet (although I'd LOVE to hear 'em), but I'll be bringing the HE-6 (which is supposedly better than the HE560) and the LCD-2.1, and Jay will (probably) be bringing his LCD-X if he still has them (he's well-known and well-loved for buying and selling headphones at a mind-melting pace). Also, finao1 has a set of newer LCD-2s (although it's somewhat unclear if he has the Fazor mod or not), and if he can make it I'd imagine he brings those with him.

If you're into planars, we had a set of Alpha Dogs and two different ZMF cans show up last time too, so orthos had a pretty solid showing. Don't doubt there will be plenty to check out ;).

i fully intend on keeping the X's, they should be there, my amp line up may change, and i'm sure i'll have one or two new grado's thats  "the plan" (yeah right!! lol)

a football player was the only thing i ever had that burning desire to be in my youth  while i had the desire, and some decent ability (LB,DL)  the body did not cooperate,

by the time i finished HS, it was shot, knees, ankles, broken bones, i still feel the effects of it today and i'm 50 , but i wouldn't have traded it for the world !
