Headphone recommendation upgrade for home use - Woo Audio WA7 paired with VMODA M100

Hey guys,

I'm excited to hear your feedback on what to buy next.

Currently I have two setups. My mobile setup is my iPhone with a vamp verza with Shure SE535's with in-ear custom molds. Works great for work, travel etc.

At home I have a Woo Audio WA7 (waiting for the tube power supply) paired with VMODA M-100's with moon audio USB and headphone cables.

It's my first attempt at a decent Hi-Fi setup. The sound stage on the M100's is pretty good and the level of clarity is more than I've ever had all to myself. I'm really enjoying it.

Being a relative noob to this whole high end audio stuff I only know what sounds good to me and am getting into hear more detail in my music. I listen to EDM, choral music, classical, world music, metal etc. Pretty much a little bit of everything.

I am craving a new pair of over-ears but don't feel right splurging on some super headphones (over $1k) until I get a better understanding of amps and drivers etc.

I was wondering if someone could recommend a pair of awesome headphones in the $500-$1000 range that would complement my current amp choices. Or even something over $1k that I could get a deal on through the forums/ebay.

Thanks very much

Nick

I think at least one person on the Beyerdynamic T90s thread loves the pairing of T90 & wa7. You can find the T90s for around $400 used /$500 new.
