Hey guys, new to the site and was wondering if yall could help me in choosing between two headphones.
I'm looking at the monoprice 8323 because of good reviews and the panasonic rp-htx7 because I found one for a very low price and read it's not all that bad.
I'm mainly looking for closed, over the ear types and my main interest is noise isolation in regards to blocking outside noise coming in, and a decent audio quality. although I'd gladly sacrifice audio quality if it means good isolation.
I know at the price range I'm looking at 0-30 (although i dont mind going up to 40 if theres something alot better that fits) I can't expect anything amazing but the reviews for both "cans"? XP seem very promising.- Good isolation, decent sound.
I currently have a sennheiser hd201 but it's just terrible! I'm not too big on audio but these aren't cutting it and doesn't seem too isolate anything. but the real kicker is that inside the cups theres only a thin film of cottonish material next to the plastic and it hurts my ears to have them on for as long as I do.
I read that the 8323 isolates very well and people comare them to higher end headphones so I'm leaning towards that but the only concern is that people seems to have comfort issues with them? on the other hand the rp-htx7 seem like i could have them on for hours on end as the cups seem very recessed but I worry about isolation, volume, and sound quality.
I feel like I'm expecting too much out of my price range but I feel like anything would be a step up from the Senns anyways, Sorry for the long first post but any feedback would be greatly appreciated, thanks ! - Dee
