Those are not real pics... just 3D renderings

Those new drivers better give eargasms upon first listen at that ridiculously high price.

Well, if the X1 got the love the L1 got in the L2... the X2 will easily be some of the best cans. At any price range.

same MSRP as the X1, so no worries it seems.

Well, that's a relief. At least it follows the Fidelio L1 to L2 trend. I hope they have removable earpads now...

Nice!! I have X1's and love them. Can't wait to see how these review.

If these improve upon the already fantastic X1 in any way then I'll go for them right away.

now im intregued

For me, if they have only little change in sound signature, I actually would still prefer X1 because of looks (silver + black + brown looks better imho). And X2 price will hopefully bring down X1 price.

The lack of replaceable pads on the L2 leads me to believe they ignored it on the X2, as well...

First: Where are you finding the X1 for $220?

Has anyone seen a confirmation that these new X2s use the same driver as the L2? Probably a reasonable bet, but just curious.

Hope X1 gets on sale after the X2 release:gs1000smile:

Waiting for sound signature info and when it's available biggrin.gif.. I gave away my x1 and really like the stealth black colors of the x2 biggrin.gif

Amazon had it for $220 for a while. Then it settled at $232 for even longer.

Philips really only need to do 2 things on the X2.

- Removable earpads.

- Tighten the bass just a little more.

Just 2 very simple things and they'll have one of the best $300 headphone ever (and if the trend follows, near $200 rather).

The treble is still grainy and needs to be cleaned up. Although I bet there are people who don't agree with that.
