AUX connection between Amp and DAC??

I'm planning to get the Dragonfly V 1.2 and connect it to the DAC/amp (Nuforce Icon HDP). The DAC of the HDP is not working that's why I'm getting the Dragonfly.

Will using AUX connection degrade the sound quality if I use the AUX cable to connect the Amp and the DAC?

I don't know any other ways to connect the HDP to Dragonfly. Are there any other possible ways?

Does it have line level out via 3.5 ?

I don't think you'll notice any differences unless you are using a really bad cable .....just like RCA

Hmm... forgive my lack of knowledge in the audiophile world. Why won't the AUX cables not make a difference in outputting the sound from

DAC to Amp? Aren't there more options of outputting the DAC sound to the Amp?

Yes , S-PDIF .....Cables and sound quality is a loop hole

Just make sure your cable is good , I have heard changes in dynamic range with cheap cables , go with a good OFC cable

Okay now I understand. Thank you for the help. My AUX cable is decent I believe, as it came as part of my HDP.
