Up for sale is Hifiman HE-400. I originally purchased it from Head-Direct a little more
than a year ago. As for my review of the headphones, the hype that spread on Head-fi
is REAL. For its price, it offers so much compared to its competitors in the same price
range. This headphone shows some weathering in the metal, and logo paint has rubbed
off a bit. There is also a small tear in the rubber sleeve of the right connector, but it is
nothing that affects the sound in any kind of way. I would imagine that a little tape would
fix this, or you could also order a silver/copper cable to get the best out these badboys.
I can also attest to the fact that these things are built like tanks. I see no scratches or wear
on the metal cans despite how long I've had it. This never ceases to impress me. This
model is the latest revision (I checked), so you don't need to worry about the support for its driver.
They also come with brand new velour pads from Hifiman as well as the original box.
I have listed all the pictures pertaining to its current state.
I am asking for $220 shipped CONUS. Additional charges for international shipping applies.
Feel free to ask any questions.
