Philips Fidelio S2 - Fit and Function Questions

Hello all and please forgive me if I'm adding duplicate content but after reading several forums discussing the Philips Fidelio S2's I feel I still have a few questions, perhaps due to my lack of iem experience. First off, iems are quite mind blowing moving from a pair of Bose ie2's (still great for things like fitness and commutes and the stay hear tips are amazing, but I can now hear what they're lacking in sound). So to start, I pair the new Fidelio S2's with my year-old and fully burned-in Fiio E07k. This helps add needed power to the surprisingly power-hungry S2's but I still find the bass lacking.

My first question is this: for those who have had their S2's for awhile, do these sound noticeably better once fully burned-in and does the bass become deeper? The bass is currently just as soft as the Bose ie2's I'm hoping to replace and I'm by no means a bass-head, but the highs and mids are already really clear and well defined. That brings me to the next question, how should these things fit? I feel like they fit really well (microphonics are driving me crazy though when walking the streets of San Francisco, hearing steps, eating, drinking, arghh!!) but I also believe it may not be as tight is they could be if I'm lacking bass.

I realize now that this post is a bit long so I'll say this - do these things lack bass or does my fit suck? And should I find different tips or stick with the included ones?

Thank you to anyone who can help me out! smily_headphones1.gif

Wow...just WOW!!! So I'm not sure why I didn't think of this before but my source audio was garbage (garbage in, garbage out). I re-ripped some music and grabbed some known good source audio and the difference it made was astounding!! So the answer all along was not so much the fit, but the source. I would love to hear other people's experience with these headphones and find out what tips you use and music you listen to!
