For Sale:
HA-5002 + BrownDog adapter for FiiO E12DIY

Will Ship To: Anywhere

I am offering my labor for free to build a few pairs of HA-5002 buffer mounted on BrownDog specifically for FiiO E12DIY. I'll get the parts needed, built and tested them out, then send them to you.

As per forum's rule, I won't be making money over them, but you will have to pay for all the parts and shipping fee. The cost will roughly be HA-5002 x 2 = US$16.50 (from RS Malaysia), adapter x 2 = US$8.20 (including shipping from BrownDog to me), packaging = US$1 (padded envelop), and shipping fee from me to you (unknown, but usually international registered air mail with tracking should be less than US$10. EMS however can go over US$20 easily. Cheaper if you are in S.E.Asia and more expensive if you are further away). So the estimated cost will be around US$36 or so, depends on shipping. The final price will be provided to you when the HA-5002 is ready to ship to you.

It will take about a month or so from ordering parts to delivery to you, mostly because the time it will take for the BrownDog adapter to shipping from the US to Malaysia, where I live, then from Malaysia to where you are. I have no control over the postal service so I can't give you a precise time. However, tracking will be available once I sent the finished HA-5002 to you. Also, please understanding that I am only doing this for the fun of DIYing, so this isn't exactly a commercial built and I do have a day job to attend to.

Payment will be made via Paypal and you are expected to cover any applicable Paypal fee, as I don't want to lose money over this since I am not charging for any profit. Full payment when I am ready to ship. If failure to pay within a week of notification, the adapters will go to public listing in the for sale forum or else where. Right now I am planning to make about 5 pairs max. If there is enough interest, we can arrange for more.

Please post reply below to reserve your pair:

-----1st batch-----

1. jorge8

2. doki81

3. sulcata_geo

4. lalala6

5. Hal Rockwell

-----2nd batch-----

6. renefg

7. hoekeat

8. SpitFir3

9. Kurayami

10. DMax99

If you are yet to qualify to reply here, please PM me directly so I can add you to the list. First come, first served.

Below is for batch 3 order, which will be the final batch of HA-5002 I'll build.

Here are a few things to note:

1) Due to the fact that this is a separated build, I have to reorder parts and therefore there will be another month or so of waiting time (from ordering part to sending out finished HA-5002). Again, I can not guarantee a precise time frame due to the nature of postal service.

2) I have learned than HA-5002 stock at RS Malaysia has dried up, but the good news is Element14 (Farnell) Malaysia has just restocked the same chip. An even better news is that Element14 has lowered the price down to USD$11.50 per pairs, given a USD$5 saving to everyone in batch 3.

3) All other conditions are the same as previous batch.

Reservation list:

1. manualvin

2. HK_sends

3. beyerdude

5. CH23
6. K.T.

Please also note that I have found out that I can't ship directly to Isreal due to political issue between my country and Isreal. If you are from Isreal and still interested, we might be able to arrange some indirect shipping with the help of other member. However, this will take more time and likely a little bit more costly.

Shipping is estimated with Pos Malaysia. So it will change with destination. Parts cost is however fixed, as I don't decide how much they are sold by the vendors.

I am in Johor, so shipping from Johor to Johor is going to be super cheap, even with registered mail - less than RM10 / SG$4 / US$3.10. So the estimated price will be around US$29 / RM93 / SG$36 or so.

Wow, that's fast. The first batch of 5 person are all in with less than 10 hours. I assume there might be more who hasn't seen this thread yet so I'll let this runs for a 2nd batch, but I'll begin the parts ordering right away.

You will be in the 2nd batch, which will runs a week or so slower than the first batch, if you still want in.
