Aune T1 vs. Little Dot MK II - Page 2

Thread Starter
That makes sense.

The reason why I thought about amps first was because it was actually easier to do research than HPs... I understand everything comes down to subjective experience and preferences. But all the info out there with what makes a good entry point HPs is just ridiculous...

For me, it's mostly sitting in front of my computer all day and when I am on the move, I do travel around. So portability has a lot to do with HP choice.

DAC/amp, I wanted to start with something I could grow into a bit before moving into more serious territory.

If you haven't seen it yet, @ljokerl Has an awesome thread about portable hps Shootout: 112 Portable Headphones Reviewed. It's a great read and what got me reintroduced to headphones after quite a bit of time away. I've owned 3 of his top 6 and loved all 3. Still own one. smily_headphones1.gif

Hi guys,

I have a similar doubt regarding DACs and that stuff...

Which one do you think is the best to pair with a Sennheiser HD600?
- O2+ODAC COMBO
- C5D AMPLIFIER+DAC

Do you have another suggestion in this price range?

My main source will be my laptop.

Thanks!

Schiit Modi & Magni or
Schiit Modi & Vali
are another 2 option.
Out of them all, probably just get the cheapest setup since they all sound/perform similar.

Thank you very much for the suggestions!

One last question, what do you think about DragonFly DAC?

I have no experience with the DragonFly so I can't say but I do think that nothing beats a good desktop setup.
