I agree. Who wants to start it? I could I guess.

Was there a flagship there? Because I hope there wasn't so I don't feel bad.

Great idea howdy. Let's kick it around a bit. Some intrepid soul could compile a list of right thinking Minnesotan audio heads and we could throw a collective wet finger in the wind and see which way it's blowing.

no akg k812? WHAT? And he-500 isn't a flagship... The HE-6 is a flagship. I'm looking to get a job and buy the k812, so I'll be bringing a big gun to a meet sometime. I am however jealous of how I didn't get to hear a single one of these. frown.gif oh, there was a denon? D7000?

got the opportunity to try out some expensive USBs , under the condition, I could not tell the difference from my wireworld stuff

The iFi audio stack will be great bed-side rig

Thanks to  Patrick who gave me a mini-lecture on turntables. who knows might revisit  the LPs sooner than later but I have to admit the digital stuff are a little convenient

Corey  of SWA audio ? did not realize that

options from Alcair Audio

All I got , hope its okay to post

got to use T1/ HE 6 with other amps- SWA b22 and  RWA Isabellina HPA and they drove them beautifully

my lovely daughter getting the proper intro

Marc from Alclair was in house, got my impressions done, tried out RSM Quad and the

Crankmaster 5000. Still can not decide which of the two to get

The Glenn amp

I always look forward to pics from meets but the truth is, that is the last thing that comes to mind

from trying out gears and socializing , there is little time for pics

so my agenda for next time is to take more pics

Thanks again to everybody for your participation

anybody got more pics :(?

Plus, last year before I delved into audiophilia, I saw a Grado **1000 on Craigslist... Was that someone from here selling them? I was looking into some decent headphones (definitely not beats. I never bought into beats... Nor Bose. Never really bought into any consumer products, and I still don't. I never bought the whole beats and Bose are best.) and I came across those Grado's for 1,000$+ and was shocked. A few months later bought really bassy headphones for 40$, and then tried my friends beats studio 1.0's to find... Better sound and build on my 40$ headphones. I now own akg k240's, and I must say... I've fallen in love with the AKG house sound. This will be a massive jump going from a low-fi headphone to a summit-fi, but at least I save money this way instead of incremental upgrades.

Snapple, your daughter is absolutely lovely with a gorgeous smile. I'll have to bring my soon to be fifteen year old baby girl next time. Thank your daughter for recommending Adele and thank you for sharing your family with all of us at the meet. It was a fun time. p.s. I never knew the back of my head was bald.

Yeah those things... I avoided them like the plague in fear of falling in love with them again lol I've head them numerous times and absolutely adore them... BUT I need to keep my collection to a minimum...

To bpcans- you are welcome, my family loves Adele, anticipating her next albums. I was hoping it's ok to post your pic. And glad to introduce you to the back of your head, lol
Hoping to meet your daughter some day

Denon/ Senn were my intro to Headfi and I am forever a fan. I brought both d7k and the LA7k is my fav

I have to admit I also needs to keep my collections to a minimum but....... smily_headphones1.gif

I'm a hypocrite though... I snagged some RS1's before I left AND I received a pair of K240 Sextett's recently...
