how durable is durable? once i stepped on the cable end of the px100 while the headphones were hanging off their neck... the tug pulled the phone & sleeve from the headband and i was not able to reattach them...

sent them to sennheiser for a free replacement tho

This forum is awesome. Thanks for all the replies. I guess ill be sportin the PX-200 very soon . I'm glad there are members here who reply even to the smallest questions. I guess thats what makes this forum so much better than others.

yup. Similar thing happened to me. I was in the school computer lab. The PX200s were plugged into my computer and the cord happened to be under the keyboard drawer of my computer table and i stood up when the teacher called. Same as yours, the headband won't stay in place now and slides in and out. Funnily, its also on the right side. Anyways, i don't think any other headband would have survived that kinda force...I stood up pretty quick.
