IMMACULATE & PRISTINE, 3 MONTH-OLD AUDIO-GD NFB 1.32 DAC

Am looking for a new home for this virtually unused NFB 1.32 DAC.

Am a verified ebay seller - robertdarzi

Have decided to bite the bullet and upgraded to the Master 7, as the M7 is being discontinued without a replacement according to Kingwa the owner of Audio-GD

This is the latest model. It still needs breaking in!

Comes with a custom built volume control, added by Kingwa himself.

YOUR GAIN, MY LOSS.

It cost USD710 (~£390) in Nov, arriving in Dec, and has barely used as mentioned. Given the 20% UK/EU import taxes (£78), and shipping of USD75.50 (~£45) for a total of £520

Buying directly from China would be much more expensive.

This unit is located in central London, and you would not have to pay further tax if you're in the UK/EU.

However, I am willing to ship internationally.

It is virtually new.

THE SOUND

I truly enjoy the clarity and crispness that the ESS 9018 Sabre provides. The very wide and deep soundstaging and image placement complements the provision of detail extremely well. There are multiple reviews online that back this up. This DAC can only get better as it burns in, given how long Audio-GD DACS traditionally take.

To my ears, it is one of the best ESS 9018 implementations for this price, besting the wadia (~USD1200), wyred4sound DAC2 and similar priced Schiit products. That’s why I bought it after lengthy comparisons - the others did not have the NFB 1.32’s combination of clarity and naturalness. The other Sabre DACS all had a noticeable glare. The Schiits did not have the clarity of the Audio-GD. This is one of Kingwa’s best value-for-money impementations.

The custom, built in volume control reduces preamp distortion.

I use them with speakers the equivalent of $8K Dynaudio C1s, with no complaints.

Unfortunately I had to upgrade to the flagship M7 as that is being discontinued with no replacement.

CONDITION

Again, the DAC is virtually brand new and has barely been used. It still needs breaking in. Given my busy schedule I have only had ~100 hours on it.

It is complete with the cables exactly as when purchased.

I am especially fussy, and careful - there are no scratches. Everything is immaculate.

The pictures on the right are indicative of its condition.
