Audio GD NFB-10ES 120/240V Balanced DAC/ Amp Sabre ES9018 REVISED LISTING
Will Ship To: Anywhere
I'm selling my near mint condition, rare, Audio GD NFB-10ES. It is 120V, but can easily be switched to 240V. I bought this a few months back to try out my first balanced setup, specifically based on the incredible ES9018, and balanced is in fact awesome!! Because of this, I've now moved to a much more expensive Audio GD balanced setup, so this needs to go.
ABSOLUTELY NO TRADES! PLEASE, I am not interested in ANY trades for anything. I don't want to sound nasty, it's just that I've already spent $2K(!) on my new dream unit from Audio GD!!
This unit is in perfect condition except for a small dent on one of the feet (you'd never notice it, but it's shown in the pic anyway, and please note the scale - the dent is very small!) and includes the power cord. For whatever reason, Audio GD assembled a batch of these units with the faceplate from the Roc, and this is one of them. The only difference aside from the wording on the faceplate, is that the gain switch is located at the rear of this unit though it appears as a power switch. So, it has all of the buttons, and all of the functionality it is supposed to, but Audio-GD assembled some units with the alternate faceplate. I asked Kingwa why this was like this (I am the 2nd owner), and he said this is just how they built the earlier units, and it is in fact correct and I should not try to swap faceplates.
The new price of this unit was $880 + $50 shipping + $30 PayPal = $960. Buy it now for LESS THAN HALF, AND, you don't have to sit around for the very painful 2 week long break in period!!! Here is a link to the product page: http://www.audio-gd.com/Pro/Headphoneamp/NFB10XLR/NFB10EN.htm
Also, I don't have much feedback here, but my username on eBay is: mp360cs (well over 800 feedback, over 14 years!). Shipping will be actual charges via UPS or USPS only (from 07747), and I will eat PayPal.
I have now owned 5 units from Audio GD, and in my opinion, this is the best looking piece they've EVER made (so far). It sounds as good as you'd expect from something like this from Audio GD - VERY neutral, TONS of detail, ZERO fatigue, ZERO harshness, highly musical, powerful bass! It seems to do everything right. Also, it FEELS good when you use it; it looks and feels like the piece of high end gear that it is. It's one and only drawback is that it doesn't have a lot of inputs, but that's what splitters are for ;)
