I only put one answer down because I did know the answer. I had seen a video they had made before the contest (on Vimeo I think) that was in a Bing search result when I looked up NOBLE products.
I was not aware that knowing the answer was not OK. I am not affiliated with NOBLE at all and I don't want this to start souring their good intentions with this awesome contest.
If that disqualifies me, so be it. I don't see how I did anything wrong, but I do not want this to cause issues for anyone, especially NOBLE.

The ONLY person in the world who uses bing! Of course you won. Who else would have used bing? Lmfao. I still think you win fair and square. Just my opinion, if you suffer enough to use bing then you deserve it.

Well, I honestly didn't want to spur a debate and make a big deal out of it. I was totally wasted as usual when I made my guesses (as I am now btw LOL) and tonight had to use the search options to look for my guesses and convert them to kilos and I was caught by surprise by the results and got one of this WTF moments when you wonder what got wrong. That's all. Of course, one can get into technicalities on the contest's rules and whether a guess down to the first decimal place as required by the contest is enough or not - believe me, I'm a lawyer I can get into this kind of technicalities but I won't - I'll just contact Brannan in PM but I'm not a sore loser or anything like that

Haha! That's interesting because the video was password protected on Vimeo, wonder what happened there?

Anyways, I'll have to discuss this with John and get back to everyone!

Well, thanks for the good spirit,

Honestly i dont think finding it over the internet disqualifies you, because internet is available for all and probably everybody already searched the internet.

You are the only one succeeded in finding this info.

My opinion you have to let the people see this video, so they dont think you got it someother way.

Other than that for the tie problem, i think this should be sorted by noble themselves.

Thats just my opinion, and i have no authority whatsoever , just offering someway to solve it.

I say cancel the contest as it was obviously compromised and hold a random drawing from all entrants.

1.2 pounds off!! So close but no cigar.

I didn't even think to search like that. Just did a search on general cable pull strength to see what dealing with!!

Congrats.

And he got it....2nd place, and some cheese.
