Need help with a pair of IEMs <$80

Hi, my GF is looking for a pair of IEM's around $80. She will be playing it through her Google Nexus, so she wants an in-line remote, decent sound isolation for travelling and good bass. Do you guys have any recommendations?

Thanks :)

I bought my TDK IE800 for less than $80 shipped, not sure if you still can find them that cheap as it was one of these one-day sales. TDK IE800 has nice bass impact and relatively good isolation when used with comply tips (included in the package).

If she could stretch a little bit more I'd look at Shure SE215, which unfortunately doesn't have remote on the cable, but there is replacement cable with mic and remote, but this makes it even more pricey. SE215 has fun sound signature with pronounced bass.

My goto IEMs for traveling is Etymotic HF5 (no remote), but there is also HF2/HF3 with mic and remote. Again, more pricey than $80, esp. HF2/3, but they provide very good isolation with triple flange tips (included) or comply foam (not included). However, Etymotic will not satisfy someone looking for strong bass. I mention them as I find them perfect for long flights - usually I stay with them for the whole 7-8h flight and remove them only if I need to talk to someone.
