Introduction & Took the Plunge - New Cables for UE 10 Pro's

Hello Everyone,

My first post on Head-Fi so I hope it's a good read and I look forward to meeting you all.  I'm not a sound junkie like most of you so I hope to learn a lot by joining your forums.  I got my UE 10 Pro's several years ago. Yes they were $900 and I got some static from the Wife... no pun intended on the UE 10's.  However, oh my God.. they are amazing and have been all the years I've had them.  However, I have started to do some research and am understanding that the cables have a great deal to do with your sound quality.    I ended up going with Double Helix DHC Symbiote SP V2 Pure OCC Silver Type 4 Litz IEM Cable 8 wire braids....  I should get them in 6-8 weeks.

I know sound quality is a great deal of personal taste, however I am understanding that quality DOES make a tremendous difference. If any of you can comment and give me some insight that would be great, appreciate the guidance and direction.

Thanks,

TBonez

Really?  Not one response yet?  Am I even welcome to the forum at least???

Of course you're welcome mate but what's your question?

Hello. Welcome to the forum! I am basically as new as you are, but your post does not ask a question. I guess people have not jumped on responding because most people come here having no idea what they want in a product. For example, I came just asking what are the best headphones for classical music (less than $100),  and people answered. If you want to learn more about audio, you should just read on the forums. Also, read product reviews. When you have gained some insight, you can write a review on your headphones for others who are considering buying them.

Thanks all, I should have specifically asked a question lol..

My main question is has anyone ever owned these cables and what did they think?  I saw another thread on the cable difference but I don't believe anyone had these.  So if you ever had them I'd like to know what your experience was with them.

Thanks

See that is my point..... so sound is transmitted wirelessly yet cables sound better... maybe that is subjective but I would agree that cables do...
