Best Portable Speakers for Taking to Hotels

Which would be the best speakers, if weight is a concern. The lighter (and even smaller) the speakers are, the better. The speakers would play music like Reggae from a computer and perhaps a movie.

Weight: Maximum 6 kg (much lighter, hopefully)

Size: Should fit inside a briefcase, suitcase or even a backpack, leaving space

Audio: Good bass would be a plus (are sub-woofers necessary for this)

Connectivity: streaming from a phone to the speakers would be a nice feature, bluetooth, USB

Price: Maximum $300

I would be quite willing to sacrifice a bit of sound quality to improve connectivity with computer / mobile devices.

I would be very grateful if you could make some suggestions. The best idea at the moment seems to be this:
Creative GigaWorks T40 Series II 2.0 Multimedia Speaker System with BasXPort Technolgy

These are a bit heavy and don't have great connectivity.

Another solution is to use something like the Beats speaker, which is very small and light. I have noticed it is very quiet, even at its loudest, though.

As far as weight goes:

What is the minimum weight decent speakers have to be?
Is it really necessary to have Bluetooth or wi-fi in speakers? (Perhaps simply a wire to a computer and then bluetooth/wi-fi from there would be enough.)
