I wouldn't say that. They both have their places in my heart. The IM70 is fun as hell while still being very technically proficient and an amazing value. The CKR9 is more detailed and realistic (dohoho) sounding. I would definitely say the CKR9 is the better phone and more high end, but that doesn't mean I don't still love the IM70.

Nah, if anything, the IM70 will start getting used for sleeping and working out while the IM50 will get less attention. :p

Hate to break it to ya but I tried sleeping with the IM70, impossible. lol Well, it might work for you, but I found its protruding design to be difficult to sleep in.

I've been sleeping with the IM50 in for a few weeks now and it works for me. I must have deformed ears or something.

Nah, probably just deeper canals than mine. The nozzle is a little too long, and my ears just aren't deep enough for the wide housing. They're comfortable when up and about, but there's no way I'm lying down with them.

I'd much rather eat duck, not sleep on it. :tongue_smile:

FYI, the CKR9LTD, limited edition, from memory seems to sound better than CKR9. Will test more tomorrow at Sgp Audio Technica Event.
