Need help in choosing headphones for my pc , mostly for rock / metal music. - Page 3

All of the Grado ear pads are interchangeable. There are three types. I think it will depend a lot on your ears as to which will be more comfortable. Ear Zonk makes ear pads for half the cost and you can get them on Amazon. They aren't identical to the Grado pads though, and their quality is probably not as good.

You can also easily stretch the headband out a bit if the pressure on your ears makes them uncomfortable. They are a bit tight out of the box, but it's not an issue after you adjust the band.

Haven't done that (Skype) with these...so I don't really know.

I just use the laptop mic and speakers or a cheap headset.

I only use headphones , and its a pc so it doesn't have incorporated* speakers ,but I shall see , I have time till tomorrow to completely decide on what i'm going to do , I'l do a good  "background check" on the UE6000 to see where they stand in comparison to the sr80i's , it'd be great if I could test them , too bad there are not many music hardware stores here , and with my luck the mic I wanted went from 6 E to 14 in 3 h , oh man.
