Why I Have Always Been a 2-Channel Guy

MUSIC = EMOTION = LOVE = LIFE.

At the age of 15, I built my first Audio System. And I mean built from a kit, Dynaco Pat 4, Stereo 120, AR Turntable, and a pair of KLH 6's. My love for good music and great gear has never stopped being the single greatest joy in my life since

then. The excitement of trying out 'new toys' to this day, still gives me that same feeling that I first felt 45 years ago. I can never remember a time when LISTENING was not part of my daily routine. Hearing is one thing, Listening is quite another.

It is not strictly controlled by matter of money spent or specifications on paper or someone else's opinion. It is about that

gut feeling you get when everything else just seems to go away...

BTW; My first Can's, Koss Pro 4AA, Marantz Electrostatics SE-1S (I doubt anyone here is old enough to remember them.)

Hear you on that one!!

So long as you can maintain the stereo image with equal path length difference from each source, 2-CH is absolutely the way to go... IMHO.  And that at the most simplistic level, is what headphones are doing.
