Okay down to the finals in my hunt for some new iem's and I have identified these three for my final choices. Can the head-fi community help me choose the victor? So basically here is all of my info and thanks to the head-fi community for getting me this far.

B

Budget: <$130

Source:Samsung s3 (No amp/dac possible)

Requirements for Isolation: I'll be around other people mostly with these, so isolation would be nice

Preferred type: IEM's.

Tonal Balance: Treble is very important, as well as bass. Balanced

Used in the past: Just some cheap Samsung ear buds

Preferred music: Mostly indie rock/alternative, but also hip hop, classic rock

Order of Importance: Sound Quality

Durability
Comfort
Ascetics
Portability

and here are the links to my 3 choices

Hi,

I think EPH-100s are a good match for the genres you've listed. (Warm. Nice Bass. Detailed and forgiving presentation. Great isolation. Metal Made)

-Not midrange monsters-

If you want something with 'neutral' bass and a more mid-centric presentation you shoud look elsewhere.

Ya I was leaning towards these so it's nice to have some conformation that they are a match for me. They don't need to be driven, right?

Do you mean if they need some kind of extra amplification?

EPH-100s are really easy to drive. An iPod Shuffle (or Nano) can drive them well, even an average smartphone with a clean output will do the trick.
