Seattle Redhook Meet Saturday July 26th, 2014 - Page 5

I haven't been to a meet in about 8 years.  I'm probably in the market for a nice upgrade, but can bring my HE-400s, k701s, RS-2s, and anything else in my sig.  :-)

I'll bring my usual gear to the meet. Hopefully I'll also have a Light Harmonic Geek Out 450 to bring along too (maybe the Geek Out 1000 too).

  • AKG K 701
  • STAX SR-207
  • V-MODA Crossfade M-100 with XL Pads

Amps:
  • JDS Labs Objective 2 + wall wart
  • JDS Labs C5D
  • FiiO E12
  • STAX SRM-252S + wall wart + step-down transformer

DACs/Sources:
  • Apple MacBook
  • JDS Labs C5D
  • JDS Labs Objective DAC
  • Sansa Clip Zip

Miscellaneous:
  • FiiO HS2 (A/B/C/D comparison switcher box)
  • FiiO RC-MH1 cable
  • Headphone splitter
  • USB-mini-USB cables
  • USB-micro-USB cable
  • FiiO L9 line out dock

  • 3.5 mm-6.3 mm Grado adaptor
  • 3 thumb drives

  • Bone conduction transducers
  • Binaural microphones + iPhone 30-pin pre-amp

Oh, Tyll from Innerfidelity recently started an electrostatic headphone measurement program and he measured my STAX SR-207.

Ultimate Ears have indicated that they'll be offering the UE/AK bundles from one of the e-mails exchanged:

They’ll be able to demo all the UE gear, shoot impressions. And offer the current UE/AK bundle pricing.

Picking up panels from FPE tomorrow. Who else is planning to bring some new DIY to the meet?
FPE? Panels? Picked up locally?

You've got my curiosity!

I might be able to show up, but that's a very big might.

EDIT: I'm definitely going to show up for a meet. I haven't been to one before, so I want to give it a shot. I live all the way in Vancouver, WA, though, so it'll be quite a drive. But anyway, assuming nothing stops me from showing up, here's what I can bring:

  • Philips Fidelio X1
  • Onkyo ES-FC300
  • Shure SRH440
  • Sony MDR-X05
  • CHC Silverado

Okay, so I don't own Audeze, HiFiMAN, Stax, or high-end Sennheisers. What do you want from me? :(

^my home town. Don't worry about what you bring.  Just be yourself, learn, and most of all - have fun.

Well, how about a Philips Fidelio X, Onkyo ES-FC300, Shure SRH440, Sony MDR-X05 and a CHC Silverado? That would be cool!

Got you covered. ;D

It's too bad that MrSpeakers can't make it to the meet. I'd love to try out Mad/Alpha Dogs.

I hope to try and sell some of my gear soon. My Shure SRH440s, CHC Silverados, and Sony MDR-X05s are all for sale. Maybe I'll get a chance to sell something at the meet.

Yay, fellow Ember fan!

Really looking forward to hearing the HE-560.

I just did something stupid.  Assuming it's shipped quickly, I'll be bringing a pair of LCD-3 w/ Fazors.
