Hi Moe

If You like detail and clarity and very Good bass impact With sweet mid , than please order Wagnus Epsioon S , you can not go wrong

Yesterday i have mini meet , i Bought all My japan and USA portable amp , We are agree Wagnus is The King in term OF sound quality not The Power

Because The Power is not very big , it is excellent to pair With TH 900 and LCD X and XC .

If you like Warm sounding and With rich in detail abd less bright thsn you should order Bakoon portable amp
Bakoon is Powerful
I havent heard Bakoon , can not TALK to much biggrin.gif

I think i am finally going be truly happy. I've found dita truth and chord hugo which are both great. Using C4 as source and 128 microSD filled with WAV I think my head-fi journey is finally going to reach that magical place I was after.

Please try the dita truth, it is really nice. I will share how it pairs with wagnus once I have the amp.

Bump. Fujiya Summer Potaken Festival actually had an up updated version of this (think cosmetic only?? Notice now there's an opening to the bottom of each socket - I guess someone must have complained their plugs don't fit) :-

They even had one on special for Y80,000 which I don't know if anyone bought. I felt bad that very few attendees had stopped by their table. Even when I did to take pictures, I didn't sit down to listen. I'll give it a listen if I come across them again.

It shouldnt shock them to see few people are approaching portable amp now days, even less for amps like them which uses non-rechargable batteries.

I popped by Fujiya yesterday to have a listen to the KH-01P yesterday.

Bear in mind this is an "in-store" test do I don't know how fully charged their AA batteries were, nor how much burn-in the amp had, etc.

I felt it did being some fullness to the mids over the RWAK240 headphone out & slightly more crispness to the trebles. But aside from that it didn't grab me as a $870 sound.

I -think- I heard hiss too (low gain) but when I asked a fellow Head-Fier I took there, he didn't hear it.

I'm gonna be honest Rudi I don't think I'll get a chance to test the KH-01P against those. It's a little difficult to request Fujiya to ask them to whip out 3 expensive amps when they know I'm not really a going to be a buyer/customer. Next best bet would be to listen at an event and even then there's loads of ppl so little chance of being able to compare side-by-side.
