Ftfy (at least, I think that's what you meant, unless you have since decided to forego the pinhole).

Anyway, I still have that mod rocking on my kc06's and love it.

I will have to try this mod... though im very curious to know how diff it is to the modded kc06 is to the kc06a.

i like both.

also, I will say the mention of the KC06A having more treble is what turned me off from getting them, KC06 already has a good amount of treble, any more will be too much, they could've just smoothen it.

One of the only iems where I truly think that burn made a big difference was the cks1000's. But, that's probably another topic that we both should refrain from lol!

You should probably describe your preferred sound signature to get a good recommendation and i also believe you should lower your expectations a bit. While you can get something that you will like more, iems are all about tradeoffs, you will be hard pressed to find something that is objectively better at everything without breaking the bank.

This.

I actually like the KC06As very much too. Bass is well done, and clarity is enough for a daily use pair. It's no detail monster but it definitely does sound very well

I don't have anybody else to buy a KC06A for and I've switched to gifting anime now. That said, I have a "item" coming that I hope to send on tour before my departure(job). I'm in the process of selling most of my stuff tho(not much), a Fenix PD35 is next.

I already sold my ASG 2 to a nice follow and he seems quite happy, great to hear. You should hear his story about the first pair, lol, poor guy.

I'll keep looking out for a KC06A lender once I get settled down but I'm getting a bad vibe from the convo with this guy(job). Moving states, not knowing what position I would be placed in, and living with someone I barely know is already bad enough to not be answering all my question. Hopefully it's just me... 😕

That's the shadiest thing I've read all year.... I'd ask you to reconsider, or at least get a definite answer on your pay and privileges before even packing.

I can see some with like the KC06's clean sound to not be immediately attracted to the A's signature. But if you're looking for clarity with a little extra bass, I believe nothing does it better than the A's for around $70.

Yeah man, I feel what your saying.

I think we both found the KC06's needed some help down low so the A's sound appealing for sure.

Be careful with stuff like that man.

I think a lot in the 06 thread with disagree with that. But yeah, I did find it lacking in the lower spectrum when I auditioned it back then. The A's are right up my alley.

My GR07 BE did lows better, the KC06 everything else.

Back when i had the regular GR07 (MKII) i thought the bass was excellent in quality but a tad over neutral in quantity :p.

A tad was not enough for me and why I'm rocking the BE variant. Bass quantity limit matched, quality exceeded.
