you must be new to the forums here Mr. OS, like THAT has ever stopped anyone from posting. ;)

No, I just come form an older time where people don't comment about SQ of things that they haven't heard. I am old school that way ;)

Here is the answer I give for a similar question over at my blog:

I can however comment a bit about KC06A, which I just received - first impression - it is quite impressive. I'll say it has no problem standing up to RE400. Might even be a little than RE400 too. I don't have enough time with it to make a conclusion yet, so that's what I'll say for now.

Comfort wise, I'll say RE400 is more comfortable because it has small earpiece. But neither is uncomfortable for sure.

Have you ever used yelp or Amazon reviews?
Reviews on this are pretty much the same. Most of the time there are people that give "5 stars" to anything or rate something a "1 star" for reasons that simply don't apply to the product.
Most of the time we weed through the rest and find that not everyone feels the same but a general consensus is usually reached.

Do the same thing here. Simply know when to weed out things that are the extremes of a spectrum and look for the consistencies across reviews.
Just know that people really do hear differently, and more importantly perceive sound differently. So it's not hard to believe people reviewing the same thing in totally different ways. Neither is wrong, it's just how they perceive what they hear.

ClieOS, I would love it if you tried the Zero Audio Tenore.  Mochill says they're better than KC06A.

Too many IEM to try, too little money to burn. I'll see what I can do.

yeppp already knew you were OG like that. haha

But it's good to FINALLY see old school mofos hop on relevant hype trains like these Ostriches instead of doing their own thang within their review bubbles tbh.  I love Tylls as well as jokers work but it just seems that some of the stuff they review are a bit dated and passe esp. with some of Tylls wall of fame stuff. LoL : P

On that note guess what i am trying to say is that i really enjoy the reviews, etc etc you do here at head-fi cuz it's much more relevant and i have learned a lot from them, so keep up the great work Mr. OS or should i say "OG"???  Guess old schoolers can still be kewl just as long as you keep on hoppin' on dem hype trains cuz that keeps ya' fresh if you knowhatimeng. HE HE HE ;)

Got my KC06A today. It definitely sounds like an Ostry, but with a bit more bass kick. Only 10 min in. Too close and too soon to tell which one is better. Equally awesome so far.

Yeah. Why not?
It's going to be short and fast. (that's what he said?).
Only three people max. Head-fiers that have other pieces that people want a comparison between and/or those that can give a good review.

Normally I could care less if you have 1 post or 10000, but for this tour I'd prefer seasoned members that others would like to hear from.

USA only. Going to Ship USPS priority. Should be around $5 i'm estimating. Each person will pay postage to the next in line until they return to me.

If you're interested and meet the requirements, PM me. I'll ship them out Wednesday to give a solid day for sign-ups.

Almost forgot. I'd prefer no more than 3 days for each evaluation. When you calculate in shipping time and weekends, it'll probably take more than 2 weeks.
