Calculate 12 AWG Chrome Wire Size?

Hello,

my wire is too long and i need to find the right length size. i cant find out how to calculate it can someone help me out?

 

the amp specs:

230volt

2x100watt

8Ohm

12 Gauge, 12 feet wire

What value are you trying to calculate? And when you say "chrome wire" do you really mean silver wire? Cables and interconnects are not made from chrome, but usually copper, silver, or aluminum.

on the sites they tell its pure oxigen free copper but it is nickel colour, its this one: http://stingerelectronics.com/productDetails.aspx?ProductId=298&CategoryID=8  so i dont know what it is and i need know how many feet it should best be.

Often copper wires are tin plated (it looks like chrome) to reduce corrosion.

 

A two conductor twelve foot, 12AWG cable could be either the AC power cable or the speaker cable.

 

In either case, it should do just fine.
