Brand Spanking New A&K AK120II and AK100II - Page 12

More likely the door caused them a lot of grief or the double card height is too high to stack pcbs.  Until someone cracks one open we won't know.

Has anyone seen confirmed US pricing and availability dates on these yet?  I've seen the references earlier in the thread, but didn't see anything confirmed and US specific.

Thxs

Not confirmed but AK Germany did quote $999 and $1799. That's the most likely price unless they plan to increase again..

Thxs!!  Well that doesn't make it an easy decision either way.  Trying to decide between one of these and the DX90.  If only each of them were $300 less...

They mentioned both in US and Euro.
Just like how AK240 is priced at 2,500 euro, in US it's also priced at $2,500.
Asia will usually follow the US pricing.

At Axpona in Chicago the AK240 was offered at $2000.  I don't recall if this included the cradle.  The 120 Titan and 120 were also discounted by a similar percentage and included cradles if I recall correctly.

I think he has done the usual wrong currency conversion, not the correct one 1:1. I seriously doubt you can get the AK240 at 1800€ in EU.

If the new AK120 II has finally that price, I think is better go directly to the AK240.

Hi,

If you are located in Korea, the Groovers app and catalogue is already available for use as well as the incorporated broadcast streaming service (not on demand streaming).

Quobuz are currently working on their app for the AK240 and new AK100II/AK120II.  The official release for this will be in August when they also plan to release their 24 Bit download service across the whole of Europe. The streaming capability (on demand) via the Qobuz app will come later in the year.

Hope this helps.

Regards

Steph

I heard if we are located outside Korea we can also use Groovers by changing our timezone in the device to Korea?
And will Qobus services be available in Asia as well?
