Looking for a good DAC for my specific uses

I'm looking for a DAC that would also double as a good component for ripping my vinyl to to my computer. My current setup is a Rega Planar 3 + Dynavector 10X5>Jolida JD9 II Tube Phono Stage>Jolida JD102B Stereo Tube Amp>Mac Mini i5. My current speakers are Dahlquist DQM-5's.

My entire digital library is FLAC and I want to get the most out of it but I also want to be able to rip my vinyl to my Mac at a very decent quality. What DAC Would people recommend? The only thing I've come across so far is the Apogee Duet/Duet 2. Any suggestions for my current setup would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

a DAC is a Digital to Analog Converter.

Vinyl is analog and you want to put the audio on to the computer (and computers are digital storage)

So technically you need a ADC (Analog to Digital Converter).

I'm assuming the Duet 2 comes with a ADC feature.

Yeah, the Duet doubles as a hi-fi recording device. I think mainly is aimed towards musicians who want to record their own music , but would also be great for recording. High quality vinyl rips.

Same price point as Apogee Duets: http://tascam.com/product/uh-7000/

A do all AD/DA converter, montior controller, head-amp: http://www.lynxstudio.com/product_detail.asp?i=59

How does that first one stack up against the Duet? It looks very nice.

Practically Bro, have no idea. Saw it when shopping for a DAC. Google is your friend.
