Returning/Exchanging something to Beyerdynamic?

I bought the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 from an Amazon seller a few month ago, while I've been enjoying them just recently the sound in the left ear has cut off completely and I don't know why as I take very good care of my stuff. So I contacted the seller and he said that they have a 2 year warranty and that Beyerdynamic could help me. I wanted ti know how exactly you return something to Beyerdynamic as in could I call and explain and would I be all set? Are they likely to allow me to exchange? Will they charge me anything? I'm pretty upset that I'm already having problems after I struggled to save money to afford these

Beyerdynamic website should have appropriate directions on getting it fix
