...not going to lie, I love the Matrix theme...

Took me a minute to catch why the "now playing" in the "browse by category" menu said "jack in..." Lots of fun little details smily_headphones1.gif

Just had the white background issue with the Matrix theme and I think I found the issue, flowerland. The wallpaper / background image for the launcher is in "indexed" colour mode instead of RGB mode. I've tried fixing it on my end and will check that it works before confirming, but I reckon this could be more challenging for the device and therefore occasionally causing the background image to not load.

First of all, thanks you guys, great work!

Now, is it just me, or do the links for the aztech themes give you the matrix themes?

I haven't touched the Aztechno links since they went up (which is before the matrix theme was mentioned). Probably a file update/swap in the cloud storage folder.

I will update the first post with new links if needed. I just need flowlerlandfilms to provide confirmed/updated links to the firmwares. :)

Thanks for the quick reply. Looking forward to it :L3000:

It must have overwritten because both are named X5,fw. Oy.
Here is the same Aztechno file with a different name, will need to be renamed to x5.fw to be installed.

Just as a suggestion to modders. You guys could compress (zip) the firmware with a little readme with your name and other explanations if needed.

This way you can name the compressed folder whatever you want and prevent overwriting firmwares because they all need to be named the same.

^ this makes too much sense^

No joy with the modification I made to the Matrix background image (from Index to RGB). I'm getting the white screen quite regularly unfortunately. Love the theme though, flowerlands!

It's a hard one to clamp down. I'll give it another try later for the next version.

Okay, I got the white screen again. It was when I went into Play By Category (which I never use). So long as I am using the File Browser (Explorer) and stay out of Play By Category, I do not have the problem. Is it possible that the Play By Category file is too big? If you changed it to "Categories", maybe it would solve the problem.

Not sure if this will help..?

Hi guys,

I was wondering if you could tell me if any of these firmwares completely overhaul the stock ui as I really do not like it much. It takes me ages to scroll to my favourite tracks and it is quite laggy, particularly after skipping songs and selecting songs.

Would any of these firmwares completed change my experience before I return my player?

Thanks
