Day #1

First Dj meet-up of the year.

Good show....absolute fire hazard/tragedy waiting to happen

*

Pretty sure Homie had......Ultrasone on stage:confused:

*

Pioneer?

*

Before the show

Yes...a real 893. Both friends and family men, the artist and the customer. Outstanding folks unless you enter their world sideways.

Speaking of Carp...

This looked cool as hell. Like they were swimming.

Day #2 kinda

If I had a child I might be kinda not pleased with this

It's a culture gap.

Giving serious thought to doing a standing rib v.s a regular one

The regular "Prime" is much softer but kills the wallet:(

Party will be July 13th it's good fun!! Anyone who wants to is welcome to join. Seriously.

This is the Asian Trailer (Japanese sub)

To say I am excited about this is....

Man, I waited all my life for them to get back to the original "Mankind reaps what it sows" dark theme.

Ishiro Honda would be pleased I imagine.

Holy **** I am so ******* excited.

GET OFF MY LAWN!!!

Day #4 Kinda

A 4 sided audiophile sitdown station

The "Woods" side

The Metals side

The ??? side

The rear.."Denon" line side

I'm not an audiophile but the T1 sounded clearer and more live than anything else on audiophile row. Amazing cans.

He is a skillful artist.

I get along with him because we both love animals. A seemingly insignificant yet strong bond point.

Otherwise we both tend to scare the crap out of everyone around us and don't chat much cuz....we don't chat much with anyone. So we both love animals and loathe light chatter.

If you buy Japan published manga or headphones or music your paying them too....indirectly of course:D

Tattoos are going out the window though. It's too clear an identifier. They lose chances/contracts etc. They are getting better at stealth mode. No chopped fingers and no tats. Most young folks with big tats are wannabe _________<<<? I dunno? But the Old School is leaving them behind. Driving Lexus and wearing Armani.

It's 2 am in Japan and I gotta hit the hay. It's kinda both.

I thought he was just a good friends friend. I picked him up at the airport and was helping them check-in at the Sheraton Waikiki when a group of punks came out in a group and bumped into the woman on the right (pic). She was like 60 and almost fell down and I grabbed him and made him regret bumping an old woman. I was fast and brutal. It took about 5 seconds from him bumping her to him being KO'd.

I got pinched by the popo and thought I had ****ed everything up .....got a visit, got bailed, and this guy was confused that i was doing some honorable thing when I told him via his wife who spoke English that I'm just a loon and felt disrespected. He went to his grave (why I can post this pic) believing I was just being humble. Of course seeing a punk almost floor an old lady is bad but I honestly felt disrespected since I was supposed to take care of them and some punk is almost knocking her over.

He went on to show me his stripes and his missing digits. He lost 1 brother in the Philippines(?) in WWII and another brother who was in Hiroshima(?) I remember feeling uncomfortable while he was talking about how war is war and stuff. Very matter of factly like that generation seems to do.

He is great. He was great. This dude...my neighbor is less great.

I gotta sleep and will share more but the 3rd generation 893 is a rare breed.

You see amazing stuff....then maybe a sign saying no foreigners allowed like 2 hours later and it kills your buzz. (my pic...true story)

Having Child pron is legal in Japan. The possession anyway. Making it and sharing it are not.

Begs the question. How did the person get it if they didn't break the law (obtained a shared item) or they made it themselves (made).

Get your head around that and you'll understand Japan....but you never will..... so you never will.

Interesting,infuriating ...

Great place to visit but emotionally taxing if you stay.

If you don't mind dudes with tats and nice cars I can get you V.I.P treatment. ;)
