I know that the Decware Zen Head sounds tube like (warm, big sound stage, etc). Any other portable hesdphone amps out there that have a "tube like" sound?

Thanks

search for a used ALO "The Continental".

Except that the Continentals dont really have a very tube-like sound - atleast not to my ears.

That classic "tube sound" generally refers to the sound from single-ended triodes ilike 2A3s and 300Bs in the output stage - they run at a plate voltage of 250V, and it is kinda hard to do that in a portable device, which typically have tube amps in the input stage.   I have yet to come across any portable tube amp which has anything like the classic tube sound, to be honest.

I know it's a lot to ask just wondering if there's anything like that out here besides the Decware Zen Head which sounds really good and like a tube amp but doesn't justify the price for a portable amp in my view.
