Amp for Mr. Speaker Alpha Dogs and Schiit Bifrost (mostly for vocal jazz)

Head-fiers,

I have a Schiit Bifrost, which I like a lot, and I have some Mr. Speakers Alpha Dogs on their way to me.  I am considering a Schiit amp, but I'm having trouble choosing between the Asgard 2 and the Lyr.

The Shiit website specifically mentions the ADs under both amps among other, more difficult to drive orthos.  But the AD have only 50ohms resistance; do you think I will miss the additional power if I go for the Asgard 2?  I don't have a side in the solid-state vs. tube debate.  I just want an amp that will bring out the potential of the ADs.

Any reasonably priced ($250-450) amp recommendations welcome as well, but mostly I'm wondering how much power I will really benefit from.  Thank you!

The AD is an Orthodynamic headphone... these always benefit from high power,

which the Lyr provides.

Are you into tube rolling?

because if not, the A2 is not a bad amplifier by itself...

here's a nice review
