Budget friendly Noise Canceling Headphones,

For the price, which would be better,

Soul by Ludacris or the Creative HN-900?

What will I be missing if I don't consider the Bose QC 15/3 instead?

First, you have to be patient. You are supposed to wait about a day before bumping a post smily_headphones1.gif

Ludacris (and Beats) don't get much respect here because they are overpriced for what you get, so I doubt you'll get much support from anyone for those Souls.

Most people here aren't into active noise cancelling because it tends to decrease sound quality.

I wanted to make a purchase today, haha.

I don't like Beats Audio and other over-hyped headphones as well.  Since the Ludacris are on sale, I figured why not give it a try.

My Klipsch S4 and Sennheiser CX175 IEM's have been my listening portals for quite sometime now and wanted to move on to the bigger league.

I noticed the In-Ear Canal Headphones are great with filtering out a lot noise even in the absence of music, but it feels awkward at times.  The Bose QC are unnecessarily over-priced, and was hoping that the Ludacris should be more than adequate.

Some of the IEMs are about the best at filtering out noise. But since it's passive, you don't lose any audio quality.

But I understand. I prefer headphones for longer listening periods over IEMs myself. smily_headphones1.gif
