V-MODA Crossfade LP2 Limited Edition Headphones or Bose QC3

I'm receiving both the V-MODA Crossfade LP2 Limited Edition Headphones or Bose QC3 to test out.  I do want noise-cancelling, but read that it would hinder sound quality.  I do want something bassy, minimal sound leakage, and something for the best bang for the buck.  I've tried the V-MODA M-100's earlier (display model) and was quiet impressed, but was not sure about price, since the Bose QC 3 Noise-Canceling headphones were almost in the same range.  I understand that V-MODA's LP2 and M-100 are Noise-Isolating, not Noise-Canceling, but was hoping to find a way to compensate the Noise Canceling feature with perhaps some light classical symphony.  What are your thoughts?

Would greatly appreciate some advice.  Thank you.

My taste:

Classical Symphony

Dub-step / Trance / House / Electronic Music

Smooth Jazz

Hip-Hop / R&B

Pop

The LP2 are bass MONSTERS and honestly their sound quality has been beaten out by newer headphones in the same price range. So if u like a ton of bass them they might be for you

I would personally go with the QC3. Ofc theres also a discussion of price... Being almost 2 or 3 timea the price of the LP2

Both good but the bose noise canceling is to good to miss if you are looking for noise reducing headphones

I read that the QC3 leaks sound.  If that is the case, is there a way to compensate for this by going for a V-Moda which doesn't leak sound, but is noise isolating and has passive noise canceling?

The only true pair of headphones that are Noise-cancelling are the QC3's (active).
