I'm cleaning out my collection and some of my equipment that isn't getting enough use is looking for a new home. Up for sale is my Audiolab M-DAC which was purchased in July 2013 from a local dealer. It has spent the last three months or so in its box as I mostly use my portable setup these days, so the M-DAC is looking for a new owner to appreciate this excellent device.
This is the best DAC I've owned so far and I'm also very impressed by its more than capable headphone output. I'd describe the unit as essentially neutral without any pronounced frequencies. It has plenty of in- and outputs, and some may be interested in the fact that the balanced outputs can actually be used to drive headphones directly. I've done this with very good results using the Sennheiser HD600. If anybody is interested I can supply a DIY balanced cable that fits the Senn HD580/600/650.
Apart from the great sound quality, the M-DAC also offers a wealth of configuration options, such as balance control, custom named inputs, display dimming, remote control, etc.
For a full list of features, please visit the manufacturer's homepage:
Condition of the M-DAC is near-mint, there are no visible scratches, dents, or other imperfections. Everything works 100% as it should.
Comes with all original packaging, accessories and manuals. I will also supply the receipt of purchase in case you ever need to make use of the warranty (valid until July 2016).
Free worldwide shipping! Items will be sent using Swiss Post International, which includes insurance and tracking.
EU buyers please note: As Switzerland is not in the EU, you will have to pay import tax which depend on the country you live in. Please take this into account before agreeing to buy this item.
Local pickup is possible as well of course and comes with a discount.
I'm not interested in any trades right now.
I accept payment by PayPal or wire transfer. Within Europe, a wire transfer is strongly preferred (no fees!).
When using PayPal, the fees are to be paid by the buyer.
If you should have any questions, please feel free to ask, I'll be happy to answer them.
