Is it bad to have this amp in sunlight for half the day? I have a window on the 9th floor in boston, and from morning until mid afternoon there is sun that shines on my amp(i just moved in yesterday). Is this bad for the amp if it is off? Is this bad for the tubes or amp if it is on?

If it is bad, will any tube covers fix this? Or just some shade. Thanks.

I try not to leave anything exposed to sunlight all day for no other reason it fades paint color. I don't think the heat would from the sunlight would do any damage.

Have you had the upgrades to amp done. I just got mine back and I think it sounds even better than before. I am really enjoying this amp with my 650's. I just started using it as a preamp and it is good enough that I may sell my other preamp.

any other opinions as to the damage of direct sunlight on this amp and/or tubes?

I'm not sure about that particulr amp, but i once owned a Fender Bassman 100 that had its back to the window for decades and the tubes were fine, as were the electronics. The vinyl greyed out a bit but that's cosmetic. It will take more than the sun to make the sound of amps fade, so I think you are safe!

Use Tropicana #35 sun block cream or it will get skin cancer.

Are the HD25s available? I see that it is listed in some people's signatures but it is not listed for sale.

I don't believe it is available for sale yet. I do not see it on his website. You may want to e-mail Craig and ask.
