Mixing headphone,In-Ear Or Full-size

I am completely confused!
I want to set up a professional studio. But as we live in mobile world, I want my studio be portable.
my goal is arranging, monitoring, mixing and mastering professionally. I have a laptop with Cubase 5 installed.
Someone told me use a full-size headphone like DT880pro and a Creative Labs Omni 5.1 for you laptop, maybe
in this way you can also mix in 5.1 and experience long period of mixing.
someone told me its impossible to produce professionally on headphones.
Someone told me you need amp and external soundcard.
and some one said In-Ear mixing headphone is better and UERM could be a good new choice and has great technology.

please tell me what should I do?
what do you recommend?

thank you.

I've read many, many times that your main mixing/mastering monitors should be speakers and that headphones alone don't cut it.

You're probably better off asking on the kvr or gearslutz forums (not on head-fi).  Unless the local producers feel like chiming in some time.
