Audiophonic Gaming Headsphone / Microphone? - Page 2

Well, I'm interested in the Beyerdynamic series mainly now...

DT880-Pro Semi-Open Reference Headphone (250 Ohm) - Could the Sound Blaster X-Fi Titanium HD actually drive the higher ohms and result in better quality / less THX distortion?

vs

Beyerdynamic DT770-Pro Closed Reference Headphone (80 Ohms) - For these options, will need a separate microphone, such as the Zalman Zm-Mic1 (might have to import)? Unfortunately the stores around here seem to only sell desk standing microphones as separate - have yet to find a decent clip-on anywhere.

vs

MMX300-II Premium Multimedia Gaming Headset (32 Ohms) - This might be overpriced normally, but getting on special anyways and comes with a pretty good microphone? Previously mentioned to perform similar to the DT770 right? However, for comfort levels, this is also Premium vs Pro if that makes much difference? I understand there might be Premium DT770, etc, but they don't seem to currently have those in stock.

Nothing wrong with desk mics, I use one. They're also less likely to get damaged since you don't move them.
