Need Budget IEM Advice (RHA MA750 vs Denon AH-C300 vs JVC HA-FXT90)

Hello again everyone, you guys helped me pick my first ever pair of Cans - the AKG K550's - but I'm back again with a want for something totally different, a pair of great budget IEM's. Just to fill you in, since I've made my last thread, I went from an iPod Touch to a Samsung Galaxy S5, purchased a JDS Labs CmoyBB (not sure if this'll have any effect on the IEM's cause of the low impedance...but hey if they were customized for the 32Ohm AKG's  who knows), and store my Music in various Lossless formats or stream it from Google Play all access (320kbps MP3?). I was wondering which IEM is better in terms of bass clarity, bass extension, mid/high clarity/sharpness and soundstage.

Both the Denon AH-C300 and the RHA MA750 are basically the same price (RHA-750 is £10 more, but looks waaaaaaay better IMO; but it's the sound that really matter right?) so it's purely between the sound signature. If anyone with both could reply that would be great, but any advice is welcome.

EDIT : I've also been looking at the JVC HA-FXT90 dual dynamic driver carbon iems,  which are the cheapest,  but I would like to factor these in please.

List of my Music preferenc :-

Plus 44

KOAN Sound

MitiS/Joe Torre

Blink-182

Jamie T

Kid Cudi

I'm partial to a bit of Paramore

The XX/Jamie XX

Alexisonfire

Bloc Party

Enter Shikari

Fall Out Boy

Tonight Alive

Zedd

Yeah Yeah Yeahs

Ellie Goulding

Top top tracks atm ;-

Thanks in advance guys!

I've heard that the C300 are a basshead IEM, I'm not sure about the other.

Yeah thats what I've been reading too but i don't know if the bass will overpower everything else, or how clarity is :( There's also the Astrotec AX35's but those don't seem to available anywhere in the UK, taking a good month to get delivered from Hong Kong.

Hi,

I'm a newbie here as you see. My first purchases just so happens to be the RHA MA750i and the JVC HA-FXT90. They are very different in their sound. I would describe the RHA as more detailed and forward. The JVC are more laid back. The JVC are very enjoyable and comfortable to listen to with more pronounced bass. I think that with more listening time I will enjoy the more detailed and expansive soundstage of the RHA. I feel like the JVC are more enjoyable right off the bat, but I really haven't spent enough time with them both.

The RHA are very sturdy and show a higher quality of construction. They also come with a very large assortment of tips to assure a good fit. The JVC don't appear to be as sturdy.

I use the RHA more due to the mic feature. I use them at work on my iPhone 5 so I don't miss any calls and can answer with the RHA. They have a very nicely molded (?) cord that sits very securely over the ear.

All that said... When I'm not worrying about answering the phone I reach for the JVC.

I am not sure I really gave a good description between the two IEMs with my limited experience. I would recommend them both. I compared the Sure SE 215 when I purchased the RHA. I was able to demo them at the store. They had great quality construction and the sound was very good but I felt I didn't like their fit in my ears.

Good luck.

I actually went ahead and ordered the RHA's, the FXT90's would have taken weeks to be delivered from Japan but I'll be getting them on my next pay date! (Well hopefully, I've got exams and stuff so I can't work much).

Thanks for your very detailed comparison though it's exactly what I wanted and I'll get the JVC's next month/end of this one.
