The Alfa Genus is the only more complex packaging. Everything else is very simple.

Wait until you see the new packaging wink.gif

Just happy you got them after such a long wait.

I will not buy Acero headphones right now. I need to be strong for my wallet.

Once the reviews start coming out I'm sure I'll lose my resolve.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS:

I have a slight issue with the Alfa Genus; the filter on the right earpiece can be loosen way to easily the left earpiece is actually better but taking it out still requires a few more twist so I have no worries that it will fall off. Only tested the silver filter as I was too excited for Acero xD Acero sound wise, is IMPRESSIVE! Do benefits with better amping thought. Also worth mentioning to include 3.5mm to 6.3mm adapter for it and "Left" and "right" label on the earcups. The Acero soundstage is what caught my attention the moment I play a song and the right amount of body is just...wow! The Alfa Genus with silver filter feels ted too bassy for me thought otherwise, very clean sounding. Timbre on the Acero is pretty natural to my ears. If they happen to burn in better with time, this thing is going to be super hard to beat at that price! By memory, I like it better than ATH-M50, not by a bit, but a lot! Congrats to RockJaw for successfully making such excellent headphone and earphone! Also, thank you for this precious opportunity! Can't wait to see the impressions from my friends :D

Update: I get sparked by the Alfa Genus a few times.. @.@

Hi Billson

The cables have left and right on, so you can wear earcups either which way.

Look forward to impressions after you have had time with them.

What do you mean "you get sparked by alfa genus a few times"?

Cheers

Electric shocks... Just a bit but it has happened a few times with the silver filter. I like the more balanced sound of black filter and it sounds cleaner. Both filters does share some strengths and weaknesses though xD so far still very impressed by the sound biggrin.gif

You must be generating some static off clothing or something as the filters are not connected to to any wired component.
