Stepping Up Yet Again . . . Help!

The journey into headphones has been enlightening and the only way I can pull serious detail from recordings with my hearing limitations.  In the rotation and on the wall are  HD650, HD800 / HiFi HE-6 / AKG K712 / LCD-X

My personal preference is in this order based upon detail with musicality:  LCD-X, HE-6, HD800, K712 then HD650

Amp and DAC are AURALiC Vega and Taurus MKII, server is Baetis Rev II.  (The Baetis does not play DSD in Exact Mode with the Vega - it probably works fine with most others that don't require the amount of bit speed and feed the Vega does for exact mode)  it would need an i7 processor.  After May I will be using the AURALiC Aries and NAS Media HD for all streaming via the Aries music play app. so all level files will play anywhere in the house.

Here's where I need your wisdom/recommendations:  If your recommendation begins with Stax, please include it as I understand another amp will be required.  So where do I step up for less then 10K?  Stax - Model?  Abyss?

As a newbee I'm sure I know only a handful of options and need help to expand the sonic horizons.

It would need to be available in N. America.

Thank you so much Head-Fi community for having this forum and for the great people I've been able to connect with.

Update.  Stax SR-009's on the way with Stax 712 Amp for starters.  Time to look for another amp after a little time with the 009's.  BH seems to run a bit hot for my taste.  EC and Woo are the only 2 options I'm aware of.   Any other recommendations would be welcome.
