What kind of source do you use for your bass?

Something portable?

Good!

Now you can add the Phiaton Bridge MS 500 to the list. Sound quality and bass is on par with the M100. Bass might be a little stronger but I'm not sure, I sold my M100 a long time ago. MSRP is $299 but you can find it for under $200.

Done! Thank you kind sir.

I've never heard of them before.. But woah, they sure are pretty.

How do they sound?

Hmm, I cancelled the SOL Repubs. It's not that I don't want them, but I figured I'm spending too much money and while they were cheap, I can wait for another month to order them. I have the UE 4000 and the FC300 still in the order though, and I probably won't cancel them, unless something very unexpected happens economically. I doubt it, but you never know. Also, out of those three headphones, the SOLs were probably the ones I was least giddy about, so yeah, they'll have to wait for another wage.

The FC300's though, I have high expectations for them, and the UE 4000 should be the perfect throw-around portable headphone.

I'm very curious about SOL republic. They seem to be aiming straight at the Beats market, if I'm not mistaken?

I've never really gotten around to listening to any..

They sound similar to the M100 but with a little more sparkle and maybe bass. I sold my M100 a long time ago so I'm not too sure.

I just got them and they're still cooking.

EDIT:

This review sold me on the MS 500.

Yeah, they're aimed at that market. Aaaaaand I re-added them in my order. Damn, Amazon must wonder what the heck I'm up to, cancelling, re-adding, cancelling, re-adding, and so on...

Damnit.

Oh well, they're probably used to schiit like this.

The Onkyos are not basshead material though. Very good sounding but not basshead even with EQ,

Just look at these massive drivers!!

I love Minidiscs. Do some of these look familiar?

Also, what are those full-size cans you just posted? They also look nice.

Which model did you order - and what made you choose it?

They are the Hi-MD recorder NH600, Minidisc recorder N920 and the Hi-MD RH10 with the OLED display in left to right.

The full size cans are the Onkyo ES HF-300 and the IEMs are the Onkyo IE-HF300.

The Tokidoki one, the grey one. It's the Tracks HD. Mainly because it was cheaper, and somewhat unique in its styling.

That's one nice looking vintage amp. Love it.

Yeah, the HF have better cables. I went with the cheaper because of monetary reasons - and it seems that people can't hear a difference. They sell the more expensive cables too if I ever want to upgrade the cables. Otherwise they're the same headphones.
