If they roll off on treble and give a boost on bass, it is not going to be as detailed for sure.

However, if you compare them to the very very old STAX, I think they should have a good fight.

Since I own either, you have to go to the STAX form and ask the question.

Well thanks for sharing your opinion!

You can also buy a used PM1 (already).

Well, the plan is to hear what people say about PM-2 and getting a used PM-2 lol.

You could contact Oppo and see if they have any PM-1 returns that they will discount, otherwise it would be very hard to come by online.

There's one up on reddit.

Without specific links that info is worthless.   ebay has one for £950.00, and no one over here would pay that,

It's the one used in this review and it's a cool $950.

Your correct (moving sale), but only after you told me that little bit of extra info I was able to find it.   Reddit is sometimes a bit hard to search.

Yeah, I'm entertaining offers. I feel like a huge dick in potentially selling it, but I need to fund a cross country move. I'm considering purchasing some used Ad2000 if I can afford it also. The only reason I didn't post it here is because it's not allowed to "flip" an item and I think they might fall into that category here. I am not sure if I'll actually sell these when it comes to it though, I really enjoy them, but I just don't have much time for them at this point in my life and I am $1,500 short of moving, this would really close the gap.

Don't feel bad about it. It's yours to sell, and someone else will enjoy it a lot. Best of luck with the move.

So, does anyone know if the PM-1's earpads will be available to buy for PM-2? Just curious
