yeah I have taken measures to avert them using their nunchucks on me

been there, done that ... i really wonder exactly what percent of packages they actually deliver during normal work hours to home addresses.  they need an option for just leaving the thing. innocent till proven guilty is my opinion.

They're sneaky. I think they have to pass that test before they get the job.

imagine how much cheaper shipping would be if they only ever had to actually deliver a package once.

In summary, it is a wonderful pairing.

+1

I heard the LCDx on WA7 at AXPONA show and thought it was a wonderful pairing.  Now I just need a LCDx for my personal collection. :)

Low-Z or Hi-Z?  Lo-Z sounds better.  Make sure to run it in the Low-Z setting for your show exhibits and such.

Results from security cam showed he rang once, wrote out sticker, rang once more and left with my precious box.. All under one minute.. Bastaarred.
I'll be waiting tomorrow

So I get this 'delivery exception this morning and that they will route it to the fed ex center for hold even though i had it already routed to go there... and they added a day to my delivery date to get there, 1 mile down the street from me. They get you either way.  It is like they enjoy making you wait an extra day no matter what you do it has to be a long drawn out process.

You should go there anyway.
I had my whole family on standby awaiting and ready descend down on that bassturrd.
So we just caught him.
He came earlier trying not to get caught (!)
Anyway,
Time to open up my "precious" hehe tongue.gif

I have yet to hear the X. I'm afraid that if I do, I'll be selling my 2.2"f" in a hurry, which my wallet doesn't really need right now. Maybe next year...

Hi,

I listened to both the LCD3 & LCDX on the WA7/WA7TP at the recent Head-Fi meet in Babylon and my wife & I preferred the LCD3 so purchased both from Jack.

I thought the bass on the lCD3 had more depth , LCDX had more attack. It was a close run thing but thought the LCD3 would be better for extended listening - currently averaging 3-4hrs a day so happy with my decision & looking forward to receiving the WA7TP.

Hope this helps,

Dave

Something just occurred to me guys -- say you took advantage of the early-bird offer, only to SELL your original WA7 unit shortly after. Can the new owner also take advantage of the early-bird offer, effectively re-using the serial number for a SECOND discounted WA7tp?

If not, then I suppose anyone selling their WA7 should note to prospective buyers whether the serial number has already been used or not (given that the early-bird promo is being offered indefinitely).

Some thoughts, or confirmation regarding this scenario?

Can't see order option for only WA7tp on Woo web site. I just send message via Contact Us to you. Hope to hear from you soon

Why is the new owner not buying the WA7tp?

You mean, why is the new owner not buying the WA7tp off ME as well? Well, it's all hypothetical -- but I can envision a situation where they're not being sold together.

For example, if I buy the WA7d, with the optical input, I'd probably sell the original WA7 to make room. But I'd still be keeping the WA7tp for myself. So if the new owner of my WA7 wants a tubed PS, can he/she use that serial number again to get the WA7tp for $349? From Woo's perspective, would they not have sold TWO discounted tp's for the same SN?

I suppose it's a question of the limits and transferability of the early-bird offer.
