For Sale:
[AUS] Lachlan's 'Some Headphones Are More Equal Than Others' Sale!!!

Will Ship To: Anywhere

"All headphones are equal, but some headphones are more equal than others."

I recently moved out into a much smaller place, and I'm in need of some short term cash / space! So I'm selling some of my gear. This is all the same gear that I looked at on my Youtube channel, and by buying it you will be helping me make more reviews! (So if you'd like to pay a little more, I won't complain, nudge nudge).

Some of this stuff I really loved, some of it not so much, but all of it I would like to sell quickly. Discounts if bought together!

I'm a non-smoker and I don't have pets.

All prices are listed in USD not inclusive of shipping but including paypal fees. Receipt dates are in DAY / MONTH / YEAR format. I'm willing to ship anywhere so just let me know and I can tell you the shipping cost. Please be aware that for some of these very large items like the SA5000 shipping costs to the US or overseas can amount to close to $50/$60 or over! Pickup can also be arranged in Sydney. I will try to ship out quickly but please be patient if I need to group trips to the post office.

EDIT: I've included dimensions and weights of all the items (in metric units), so you can use this to calculate postage on this website: http://auspost.com.au/apps/postage-calculator.html Please remember this website needs weights input in kilograms!

Please note that I insist on shipping all high value items with proof of postage and shipping insurance where possible. Express shipping available on request!

EDIT: International shipping costs!

Here is how shipping breaks down to most international destinations by weight as detailed here http://auspost.com.au/parcels-mail/pack-and-track-international.html These prices DO not include shipping insurance, but have proof of postage and tracking.

Note: I have a 'first in best dressed' for this sale, so if you agree to a deal I will consider it 'pending' and update this thread but I won't actually consider it sold until I see funds in Paypal. Unless of course you are paying in cash for pickup haha. This is just to be fair to other buyers as I've had experiences where people back out of a deal after saying yes.

I'll have better pics up soon, and maybe more items!

Logitech UE6000: $70

23 x 22 x 11 cm / 1100g

Near perfect condition, with all original accessories and packaging included + a receipt from Dick Smith Electronics from 6/10/2013 (with warranty till 6/10/2015)

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro: $100 SOLD

23 x 20 x 13 cm / 560g

Good cosmetic condition, but earpads smell a little funky (not my fault I swear!). Can include a brand new set of DT770 earpads for an extra $10. Locking mechanism on the cable is a bit worn but fully functional. There is a small perforation on the white membrane surrounding the driver, similar to this as pictured: http://www.head-fi.org/t/677562/wtb-broken-dt880-driver-unit There is seemingly no audible effect from this, but please be aware.

Yamaha HPH-MT120: $65

24 x 20 x 10 cm / 530g

Near perfect condition, with all original accessories and packaging included + a receipt from Dick Smith Electronics from 6/10/2013 with warranty till 6/10/2014.

Sony MDR-Z1000: $200 SOLD

31 x 21 x 13 cm / 1100g

Good cosmetic condition, minor scratches and signs of wear on the mag alloy cups. Tiny dent (2mm squared) on right driver, this has seemingly no audible effect. Original box and accessories included.

Philips Citiscape Shibuya: $20

21 x 20 x 9 cm / 370g

Bought this out of curiosity, but never opened it. Can include as a freebie (+shipping) if it sweetens the deal on any of this other gear!

Beyerdynamic DT880 250 Ohm SOLD

30 x 25 x 13 cm / 790g

Good cosmetic condition, very minor signs of wear. There is a small perforation on the white membrane surrounding the driver, as pictured: http://www.head-fi.org/t/677562/wtb-broken-dt880-driver-unit There is seemingly no audible effect from this, but I managed to source a replacement part for this membrane which I include with the sale. However you will have to work out how to transfer the driver to the new part if you want to make use of it, since the driver is glued into the disc. Original box included.

Audio Technica ATH PRO700MK2ANV: $200

29 x 20 x 12 cm / 800g

This is the limited edition 50th Anniversary black / gold version of the PRO700MK2. Great condition, only very minimal signs of wear, original box and accessories included.

Decided not to sell these for now.

Audio Technica ATH-ES10: SOLD

26 x 21 x 7 cm / 402g

Kind of hate to see these go but I don't have enough ears for so many flashy portables. These are in good cosmetic condition with some minor scratches on the earcups. Both leather ESW11 earpads and stock earpads are included along with all original accessories and packaging.

Sony MDR-SA5000: SOLD

35 x 26 x 13 cm / 924g

Really really hate to see these beauties go but c'est la vie. Great cosmetic condition, minimal signs of wear but the leather earpads are quite stiff. Original box (which is huge) is included but not the stand that comes with the headphones. I'm keeping that since it's so awesome!

Jaben Alumod Alessandro MS-1: SOLD

20 x 20 x 10 / 569g

This is a real curio. An Alessandro MS-1 with the red Jaben Alumod earcups. This thing sounds good but is quite heavy and looks quite absurd on the head. Still awesome though. No packaging, but it's in good condition and an extra headband is included.

JVC HAS500-Z (Black): $25

12 x 12 x 10 / 201g

Great cosmetic condition, very minimal signs of wear, no packaging.

Sennheiser Momentum (Brown): See this post http://www.head-fi.org/t/715476/aus-lachlans-some-headphones-are-more-equal-than-others-sale/30#post_10505076

28 x 23 x14 cm / 1120g

Great cosmetic condition, minal signs of wear with no scratches on earcups. All packaging and accessories included, + purchase receipt from JB Hi Fi which entitles you to the remainder of the 2 year warranty (purchase date 7/12/2012).

JVC FXD80-Z: SOLD

15 x 9x 5 cm / 82g

Great condition, all original accessories are included and unused.

Sony RDP-XF100iP iPod Dock: $100

3.4kg

This thing sounds great, but hasn't seen much use. It's in great condition but it's a pretty big box / unit so local pickup in Sydney only. All original accessories and packaging included.

Added 27 April:

New Beats Studio 2013: $220

Dimensions Pending

Near new condition. Including all original accessories / packaging and a purchase receipt dated 31/12/2013 for warranty through to 31/12/2014!

Pioneer HDJ-1500: $80

Near new condition including + a receipt from Dick Smith Electronics from 6/10/2013 with warranty till 6/10/2014. Will not ship with box unless upon request since the box is excessively large and heavy.

BRAND NEW IN BOX Sony MDR-10R (Black): $120

Selling on behalf of friend who received a free 10R as part of a NWZ-ZX1 promotion. Completely brand new in box and sealed.

THANKS FOR LOOKING! :D

What would shipping be to Ohio usa

Update: I've gotten numerous requests about shipping the SA5000 without the box. While I don't have the SA5000 with me to confirm dimensions, I suspect that the shipping dimensions would be 25 x 25 x 12 cm and close (but below) 500g in weight. (As long as I can find a suitable replacement box). This would make the shipping cost something like $20.10 to the United States with no insurance or $28.70 with insurance, as per the AusPost calculator.

Shipping to the US would be $20.10 - if you are keen you would be 2nd in line on this though.

The UE6000 is really tempting for $70, how much would that be with shipping to the East Coast of the US?

Since I am getting this question repeatedly, here is how shipping breaks down from Australia to the United States. Prices are based on weight. All prices are for registered shipping NOT including insurance. In most cases the insured price will be similar or slightly more.

Hello Lacklan! Im a subscriber on your youtube channel, I have a pair of MDR-7550 as you reviewed and they are awesome, What are the best headphones you have, price doesnt matter, I know you will sell everything fast so please let me know so I can make the transaction with you, I have paypal, what do you need?

I have the MDR-V900 that my father gave me but they have some broken parts and I cant find the replacements, so what I need is a substitute for this.

Cheers,
