What company has the sound signature I'm looking for?

Hi, I want to purchase some headphones around $150 but don't know how is the sound of each company, I know Beats have a lot of bass and poor sound balance but that's it.

Specifically I'd like very detailed sound in guitar picks and several instruments; good, detailed, and noticeable bass; very wide soundstage (important, if they are open headphones even better) what brand should I look for? Audio Technica, AKG, what do you recommend me?

Consider Sony mdr-7520

$400, way out of my league.

Sennheiser amperior - before it's too late, it will vanish from stores very soon. The soundstage is not wery wide, but you'll get used to it. Nothing comes close to it in that price range.

Sennheiser HD558 would be worth looking into.
