Help: Mobile office setup?

Hi all,

I'm due to change the way I currently work, in the sense I will no longer be working out of the same office everyday  but instead will be going to temporary offices so all my gear will have to go with me.

I currently use a (desktop) external DAC with a Headamp Gilmore Lite amp with my AKG271s so I want to replace these with portable versions.

I've decided (not purchased yet) to go with Senns momentums on ears.

Criteria are as follows:

- All gear must be portable.

- Battery life is redundant. All gear is to be used on charge from USB (laptop)

- Source is a Samsung I9100 Galaxy SII (needs to be on charge during use)

- Need to be able to received phone calls throughout the setup (hence not having laptop as source)

I've been out of the loop for a while, certainly since considering using a phone as a source was crazy.

Can I get a DAC output from the phone via the headphone jack (since I need the micro USB for charge)?

I'm researching as we speak but any suggestions are very welcome.

Thanks!

you can't output to the dac via the headphone output, that's analogue.

have you thought about a one box DAP ?

Thanks for your reply.

I've since done some research to learn that my phone really isn't the best choice for this sort of application... That said I'm stuck with it and I can't hack it to bits (it's a work phone).

Is there even a way of getting line out from it for an amp?

How does this work? Does it even work? - http://www.amazon.co.uk/KitSound-Docking-Station-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B006GJKNF6/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top

Thanks
